We’ve recently learned that PocketBible 3 has won the Smartphone & Pocket PC Magazine Best Software Award in the Religious category. Although this is the sixth time PocketBible has won this award, we’re especially thrilled this year to win with our new version of PocketBible.

The New American Bible is now available for use with PocketBible 3. This is a Catholic version of the Bible and sells for $14.99. PocketBible 3 users may need to download an update to the program from their account to use this new title.
The Complete Word Study Dictionary Old Testament has been released for use with PocketBible 3. This is a companion volume to the previously released Complete Word Study Dictionary New Testament. These dictionaries sell for $29.99 each or can be purchased together for $39.99. PocketBible 3 users may need to download an update to the program from their account to use this new title.
PocketBible for Pocket PC has been updated to version 3.043 and book reader engine 1.059. This is a free and recommended update for registered PocketBible 3 for Pocket PC owners. (more…)
Google, YouTube, MySpace, and Growing Old
The Google acquisition of YouTube has me reflecting on the seemingly never-ending stream of fads, fashions, and favorites that come and go like waves pounding against the shore. What strikes me as odd is that despite the fact that one wave follows the next with the predictability of time itself moving forward, there seems to be an endless supply of investors, pundits, and egomaniacal corporate executives who are sure that this wave is the one.
