PocketBible Award winnerWe’ve recently learned that PocketBible 3 has won the Smartphone & Pocket PC Magazine Best Software Award in the Religious category. Although this is the sixth time PocketBible has won this award, we’re especially thrilled this year to win with our new version of PocketBible.

Thanks to the Board of Experts who voted for PocketBible and to our loyal users who continue to give us great ideas for improving the program.

The improvements in PocketBible 3 for Pocket PC, including the MASSIVE benefits to hardware keyboard users, make this well-deserved! Thank you for softkeys, and thank you for the brilliant verse lookup right from the page you are reading (just by typing the verse right on the keyboard). These have made PocketBible a true joy to use on my HTC Universal.

I also feel it was well deserved for all of the hard work and effort put into the great enhancements made to the upgraded PocketBible 3. It was almost as dramatic as going from watching a DVD with a stereo (2 speaker) sound system and then upgrading to Dolby Surround Sound 5.1 or 6.1.

i have been using my smartphone bible (windows mobile) but navigation and screen size are becoming an issue to me. i changed to Palm TX, cos of bigger screen and easier nav. the only thing i missed on my phone is the “the book mark”, the “categories”, and options of sorting the books in alphabetical or biblical order.

i wish these 3 items (bookmark, categories, sort by..) can be included in your upgrade for Palm platform
